Carnatic Orchestra

The Carnatic Orchestra spreads the light and essence of Carnatic music, throughout college and enlightens the students on the significance of Carnatic music. It also awakens the hidden musical talents of students and bridges the gap by strengthening the bonds between senior and novice instrumentalists. The Carnatic Orchestra conducts practices efficiently, for both usual and special occasions and organizes stage orchestral performances at cultural events organized by other societies and schools.

Orientation Programme

This event was an Orientation Program for students from grades 1 to 7 to motivate them in order to learn the Carnatic musical instruments. The importance and use of learning these instruments, the opportunities in school by being a part of the Carnatic Orchestra, the previous programs the Orchestra has taken part in, are the main things that were explained using a slideshow.
