Senior Environmental Club
The official name of the club shall be the Senior Environment Club of S.Thomas’ College Mount Lavinia. The objective of this club is to enable students to develop deeper environmental awareness and engagement, assist in their academic and professional development, and work towards environmental betterment and it has members comprised of students from the Lower Fourth Form to the Upper Sixth form who are interested in the Environment.Latest Project
Debate on 'is it ethical to use animals for testing
A debate was organized on behalf of the world environment day. The topic of the debate was 'Is it ethical to use animals for testing' .This debate was held among our M6&L6 Students and Mrs.Inoka Muthuthanthri was invited as the judge for this event. the proposing team was able to eliminate the opposing team succesfully and both teams were awarded with E-Certificates for participating.
