The Thomian boxing team took part in the Junior boy championship for the Herbert Embuldeniya challenge trophy held between 29th July to 2nd August 2023 at the Boxing Hall of Sivali Central College, Rathnapura where over 90 schools participated and over 500 boxers took part in this tournament. D.C.K. Thananayagam won the Silver medal in the 57-60kg Junior boy weight category. R.A.A.M. Ranasinghe won the Bronze medal in the 50-52kg Junior boy weight category.
