The game came to a premature close late afternoon as day 2 was played under overcast conditions. The game was poised interestingly after lunch but as the light faded the game ended in a tame draw. However, STC retain the trophy after last winning the encounter in 2020.
Charuka Peris had an all round outing for College with 5 wickets and 28 runs, whilst Thisen Ehaliyagoda complied a valuable 69 runs.
For the visitors Kithma Sithmal took 4 wickets and scored 27 runs. Vidun Wijebandara scored 61 & 22 in the two innings
