Following a 6 month wait, the results of the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination for 2020 held in March 2021, were released yesterday, and we are indeed delighted to announce that the batch has performed exceptionally well, considering the fact that most of their education was conducted virtually due to the pandemic.
Out of the 195 students who sat for the exam, 93% of the students have qualified to follow the A/Level course, while 9 students have been referred in either 1st Language or Mathematics.
19 students have obtained 9As and another 12 students have obtained 8As and are still awaiting the results of their aesthetic subject, the results of which have not been released due to the Practical Test not being concluded. Another 10 students have obtained 8As.
We congratulate all our students for a fantastic achievement even during times of uncertainty and the challenges of online learning.
We also place on record our heartfelt gratitude to the many teachers who worked tirelessly, even in the midst of numerous limitations including the teaching moving to a virtual platform almost overnight and still helping the students to achieve these results.
