HNB Students' Savings Unit
HNB has been operating a Students’ Savings Units (SSU) at S.Thomas’ College since 1997, with the approval of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. It’s our common view that this concept of school unit will not only facilitate children to start saving at very young age, but also will further groom them to manage and understand their finances better. The H.N.B Unit has been organizing different kinds of projects such as ‘Canvassing program’ and ‘H.N.B Wally-E debit card program’.Latest Project
Workshop’21
H.N.B. Student’s Savings Unit of S . Thomas’ College Mount Lavinia planned a workshop to give the support for the students in their financial handling. The workshop is planned to give a better understanding to our students about the importance of financial education and importance of Savings. Also, an idea on ‘Achievements by being a banker’, ‘Benefits of being a banker’ and ‘Importance of being a banker’ will be provided.
